Phenom Sports Center is hosting its 1st recreational basketball tournament. Rec League was organized to promote active lifestyle amongst sports enthusiasts and foster camaradie through a fun-filled yet competitive league.

Games will be held every weekends – Saturday and/or Sunday 8am-2pm.

Player Eligibility

1. Open to all Organization, Teams and Ball Clubs.
2. No current and former professional, semi-professional and collegiate basketball players
   • This refers to players currently playing in the Professional League – PBA, ABL, etc.; Semi-Professional Leagues – PBA D-League, FilSports Basketball Association (FBA) Philippine Commercial Basketball League (PCBL), etc.; Collegiate Leagues – UAAP, NCAA, NCRAA, NAASCU, etc.
   • Former collegiate developmental and junior players must be declared and approved by the Technical Director.
3. No amateur and pay-per-play players or players that play in commercial and open division leagues.
   • This refers to players who played in the commercial leagues – DELeague, MBL, etc.; Commercial, Open Division and Out-of-Town Leagues.
4. Players who already played in the higher divisions (Intermediate, Competitive and Elite) are not allowed, unless otherwise approved by the Technical Director.
5. All Players will be pre-qualified by the Technical Committee before he can officially play in the League.

Tournament Format

1. Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of 5 elimination round games.
2. Teams will play against teams in their division.
3. Playoff games will be knockout matches.
4. The format will be set after the grouping of teams into divisions has been finalized.

Team Roster / Uniform

1. Maximum number of players per team is 20, but only 15 players to play in the game. Only players on the official team roster, submitted before the tournament date will be allowed to play.
2. All teams and its players must wear the official team uniform (jersey and shorts same sets, same design) during their games. Teams will be required to have 2 sets of – 1 light and 1 dark. (Jerseys must be properly numbered, 0 to 99. A zero (0) and a letter (a to z) before the next digit (1 to 9) is unacceptable. Players not in proper team uniform will be considered ineligible and will not be allowed to play.
3. All players must have signed a waiver/liability form and an official roster sheet prior to the start of the first game. No signature, no play.

Registration

1. All interested teams must submit their accomplished registration forms, team gallery, a copy of valid ID and a registration fee of Twenty Three Thousand Pesos (Php 23,000.00).
   • In addition to the registration fee, teams are required a bond of Three Thousand Pesos (Php 3,000.00) for fines/penalties that will be incurred during the season. This amount will be refunded at the end of the tournament.

3. Please furnish us a copy of the validated deposit slip once done with the name of the team and team representative.

Team entries will be filled on a first come first serve basis, so please submit your registration as soon as possible to assure your team a spot in the tournament.
