MANILA, Philippines – DECA 8990’s hopes to make it two in a row in the ongoing 2016 Next5Hoops South elimination round were derailed by E.T. Homes by beating the opposing squad with a 108-86 blowout on Saturday, April 2 at the EJG Lucky Gym in Parañaque City.
Roger Domingo’s star shined the brightest for E.T. Homes by dishing out 26 points and converting 8 of his 15 beyond-the-arc attempts.
Domingo received a helping hand from Martin Palisoc, who hauled 19 markers to come along with 4 boards and one dime.
Meanwhile, Jesus Manay and Earl Murphy also stepped up for E.T. Homes by finishing with impressive numbers of 17 and 16 points respectively.
On the other hand, Lawrence Paolo Rapinan unleashed a dreadful performance in spite of DECA 8990’s disappointing defeat to ET Homes.
Rapinan manned the offense for DECA 8990 as he tallied an all-around effort 35 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and two steals.
E.T. Homes improved its record to 4-2, while DECA 8990 dropped to a 3-3 win-loss standing.
In the second fixture, Mark Tarrobal bombarded South Forbes Villa’s frontline unit with 22 points to lead Major Homes Properties to a 92-80 conquest.
Moreover, JAPAS Airconditioning Services Kingsmen snapped their two-game losing skid by trouncing the hapless Street Chef with a 69-55 victory.
Jeb Carl Po played a pivotal role in Kingsmen’s road back to the winner’s column by registering 16 points, 8 rebounds, two assists and one steal.
