QBE was the biggest winner during the weekend as their men’s and women’s volleyball teams both advanced to the finals of the 2017 BPO Classics after dispatching their semi-finals opponents.
QBE’s men’s squad hammered out a gripping 27-25, 26-24, 20-25, 25-21 win over Teleperformance to continue their inspiring run in the playoffs. Callejo scored 19 points in the win.
Meanwhile, QBE’s women’s team swept IBEX Global, 25-16, 25-13, 25-17 as Martinez dropped 30 points on 22 attacks and eight serves.
Defending men’s champion The Results Companies continued their winning ways, making quick work of Accenture, 25-20, 25-19, 25-19 behind 15 points from Alayon.
Teleperformance took the last spot to the finale in the women’s division after a shutout of Accenture, 25-14, 25-21, 25-17 with Vicente’s 19 points pacing the winning side.
The finals games for both divisions will be held on Sunday, September 17.
