NSD disposed of Wolfpack, 69-63, in the opening game of the tournament organized by One Unite Sports at Camp Crame.

All but one of the starting five contributed double-digit markers even as NSD demolished Wolfpack inside the paint in the win.

JJ Trigueros topscored with 24 points and contributed nine rebounds, Marlon Mariscotes and Lezter Acsayan added 12 points each while Cal Urayenza had 11.

Wolfpack scorched with nine triples but failed to neutralize NSD’s 48-22 advantage inside the paint.

In the second game, P4P nipped Hoops Basketball, 79-75.

P4P basketball leaned on a strong 29-15 start to keep Hoops Basketball, which tried to come back with an 28-21 third quarter, at bay all game long.

Andrew Almario led all scorers with 26 points that went with eight rebounds and seven assists for P4P while Tarig Curammeng and Mark Derafera chipped in 17 and 16, respectively.

Bantams, meanwhile, defeated Wolverines, 80-72, to claim the third semifinal berth.

Manuel Canlapan towed Bantams with 20 points, nine rebounds and four dimes but got ample help as Felix Simbulan came up with 14 markers including two triples off the bench.

The nightcap featured Leeleng IEMPLOY dispensing Baba’s Rice Mills, 79-70.

A complete team-effort from Leeleng helped neutralize Jerick Datu’s 29-point explosion from Baba Rice Mills’ side.

Four players scored at least 10 points for Leeleng with John Viray at the forefront from 18 markers that came with nine boards and the rest of the team had at least a point.
